As Preferred Scientific Recruitment Partner of our client, we are looking for a candidate to join their R&D Analytical department.This business is one of the most important and well-known producers of consumer goods, employing more than 100.000 people worldwide and having R&D, development and production capacities all over the world. Many of their brands have more than a billion dollars in net annual sales!
Responsibilities
* Participate in the analytical part of product development. You will also acquire a full understanding of the product/process chemistry.
* Technically curious and enjoy working in a laboratory! Able to learn and work with a lot of different analytical techniques.
* Flexible, innovative, problem solving and acquire new capacities.
* Leading problem understanding/solving as well as the development, validation, verification, documentation and/or transfer of new analytical methods.
* Proactive partner within the project team and you want to reach the different group objectives.
* Communication and experience working to tight times-lines is very important.
Requirements
* University education in Chemistry / Chemical Technology / Bioscience
* Some experience in analytical measurements is necessary
* Experience working with several analytical and physical techniques like spectrometry (IR - UV), titration, gravimetry, chromatography, including wet chemistry experiment (such as derivatisations, extractions)
* The ability to interpret analytical data and the ability to have an impact the project.
* Good communication skills in English and Chinese
