My Client is a cash rich start up Biotech looking for someone to design and implement Market Access Strategies for there current and future compounds. With this role there is real career development and a chance to build a team.
Main Purpose
Sets the strategic direction and drives the implementation of activities and programmes to ensure pricing, reimbursement and formulary access for my clients products in Europe
Drives the pricing strategy, providing recommendations on initiatives to optimise price across markets and maximise long term profitability
Develops and ensures HEOR programmes support the above strategies and engage stakeholders to facilitate pricing, reimbursement and uptake.
Provides market access evaluations in support of business development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Produces and owns master market access plan for key European markets, built in conjunction with LOC's and network of external partners.
Sets the framework and oversees HEOR plans and their implementation to support access and engage stakeholders
Drives understanding of landscape and environment and ensures activity plans positively influence required changes.
Identifies key stakeholders for P&R and market access in major EU markets, determining their specific information needs and requirements.
Stays current and informed about pricing and reimbursement requirements and their evolution across Europe
Provides guidance and strategic advice to European Management Team as required
Position's environment
The position is a key member of the Policy and Planning Team. It plays an active role in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring that products are priced optimally with wide accessibility across Europe and International markets.
To this end the position interfaces with all functions at Global (primarily, Clinical, Medical, Commercial), at European (primarily Marketing, Regulatory, Medical) and local levels (primarily, GM, KAM) in order to ensure that activities and programmes to facilitate access initiatives are delivered appropriately and effectively.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
Capable of working in a fast moving entrepreneurial environment
Ability to drive a large workload
Excellent project management skills.
Capable of working efficiently and collaboratively in a small team
Experience in either HEOR or Pricing and reimbursement
