My client is a large family owned business who is expanding there UK operated due to the organic growth and a successful pipleline. In the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2006 my client was the highest ranking pharmaceutical organisation.
Through the effective management of a portfolio of products, assist in the continued development of a pro-active in-house approach to the economic evaluation of my clients products with reference to well-founded research and reasoning on cost effectiveness, quality of life considerations and other pharmaco-economic arguments appropriate to specific situations.
You will be required to
Develop UK health economic strategies to support the pricing and market access of our products.
Support pipeline products including working with marketing and corporate colleagues to support product pricing and incorporate relevant HE measures into clinical trials.
Provide HEOR expertise to shape the understanding within the business of relevant environmental market access challenges.
Provide training on health economic materials and HEOR issues to the field force and other internal customers.
Lead the relevant cross functional product team to achieve the delivery of HTA submissions for our products.
Identify own training/ development needs in consultation with manager.

Qualifacations required
MSc Health Economics would be advantageous
Experience of developing UK health economic strategies
Experience in modelling is essential
Knowledge and practical application of all relevant methods of economic evaluation
