Our client, a biopharmaceutical company is currently looking to recruit a permanent Medical Affairs Specialist to be based in Hampshire. Full details can be given upon application or alternatively call Maggie Hakkou on +44 (0) 207 633 4816.
Reporting to the regional Medical Director, the Medical Affairs Specialist will facilitate at a local level of the successful implementation of the international Outcomes Survey database as well as providing an overall medical liaison role within the expanding global HGT team. The role will require UK and Ireland travel.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and build good professional working relationships with assigned geographic area of KOLs in nominated therapeutic areas
- Ensure appropriate and efficient identification and involvement of KOLs in conjuction with OS management and Medical Director
- Provide input and participate in cross functional initiatives
- Participate in scientific training to cross functional teams
- Deliver quality medical education presentations in a variety of settings and to obtain valuable feedback that can be disseminated throughout the organisation
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects and required documentation requests
- Act in compliance with company policies, SOPs and Applicable Codes of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Education and experience requirements
- Background in clinical research or medical affairs experience
- Bioscience degree or similar qualifications. Higher degree would be an additional advantage
- Ability to travel nationally
- Valid driving license
