Clinical Team Lead

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this leading global Contract Research Organisation as a Clinical Team Lead in Belgrade.
Leading the clinical aspect of a project or projects within a region or group of countries you will be responsible for ensuring project delivery accordance with contracted project scope and timelines.

As well as being responsible for planning all monitoring activities as the Clinical Team Lead you will take responsibility for assigning project parameters to the Clinical Research Associates including hours or work, budgets etc.

You will ensure that CRAs assigned to the project achieve project goals, providing guidance, training and support as necessary to meet project requirements, as well as ensuring quality control and budget adherence. In this role, you will work closely with clients, and lead initial investigator meetings as well as work closely with project managers.

Frequent travel may be necessary but you will not be expected to undertake regular site monitoring activities.

Qualifications and experience

The successful candidate for this role will also have a master degree, or equivalent, in a scientific or healthcare discipline and in addition international study management experience and previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate with significant experience in clinical monitoring as well as project leadership experience.

Other qualifications include budget management experience;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Fluent English and Serbian;

Ability to effectively lead complex teams.
