Novartis oncology abstracts set to be presented
04 Dec 2008
Novartis has said more than 200 abstracts from therapies across its oncology portfolio are to be presented at two medical congresses this month.
The company said the abstracts will provide new data and profile the potential patient benefits from an ongoing collaboration with the oncology community.
Oral presentations will be given at the American Society of Haematology annual meeting and at the CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
"Our robust portfolio and dedication to oncology research is ultimately about providing patients and their physicians with new treatment options to address unmet medical needs," said David Epstein, chief executive officer and president of Novartis Oncology.
Novartis has just announced the winners of its 2008 Energy Excellence Awards, in which entrants present ideas for reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable energy.
Winning projects came from sites in Austria, Germany, Indonesia and Switzerland out of a selection of 46 entries assessed by judges.
